It's not every day that you get to hang around with friends and play games all day. Also it's not every day that you get to hang around with a board game reviewer friend and play games all day. And it is not every day that you get to hang around with a board game designer/review friends and play games all day....But I have been privileged to do so, with one of the sweetest guys I know. Philippe Tapimoket.
If you know that name, you probably have been living in France for the last 10 years. Philippe is a devoted board game player, who for many moons has written reviews for Tric Trac (the largest French board game site) also a site he created "Vin d'jeu", as well as some videos reviews along the way. He also introduced me to Rémi Gruber, the head honcho of RUNES Editions, the publisher of his game. I have been playing all kinds of games with Philippe, as he has an open mind about what is a game. I have also played a few of the prototypes that he has developed over the years. One of those prototypes is called Blackwood. A game, where players are Witches, making potions to gain respect from the council of Blackwood. To gain a seat beside them. Here is a "How To Play" and "Review" of his first, but not the last, published games Setting up the game... 2:27 How do you play this?... 4:40 Is it your cup of tea?... 13:14 Technical Score... 9 / 10 My BGG Score... 7.5 / 10 Combined Score... 8.25 / 10 Setting up the game... 1:34 How do you play this?... 3:55 Is it your cup of tea?... 7:43 Technical Score... 9 / 10 My BGG Score... 7 / 10 Combined Score... 8 / 10 So, there is a round up of reviews at this time, courtesy of Mr Tapimoket. If fact, there will be many more coming thanks to this wonderful Chap =)
